2 Essential Parts To Health

Hello Friends,

I know it has really been a long time since I posted last. Let's just say that I was on a journey of self-discovery, and it was a beautiful, tiresome, but fruitful journey indeed. When I wrote the book Perfect Body Perfect Baby After Delivery, I was going through a phase of deep love and joy of being a mother for the first time. I have been someone attuned to nature and believe in eating all natural foods mostly. Thus, my growing phase from childhood to having my first child was mostly filled with eating natural foods and using almost natural products. My upbringing made this easier. But there was something I totally missed out in the book. To be a truly healthy mom and to give birth to healthy children, a mother must find a balance. I am not talking about balancing what is available in our today's world with what is natural. It's way deeper than that. Let's go back to the beginning, so that I can throw more light on this.

I am going to be referencing the best source of history to date.

Gen 2:7 And the Lord God formed man out of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.

Read that again. It appears the body of man was formed first. Then he got the spirit. After which he started to live. Wow! That is truly amazing. In the journey to true health, one must not negate the obvious that the children of men (all of humanity) are made up of two parts. The body and the spirit. An absence of one results in an absence of a living being. A healthy soul. A mother that discovers the secret to health, must know how to care for the body and the spirit, so as to be whole and complete. Thus, I am going to be posting about these two essential parts of humanity and how to achieve maximum health through harnessing the gifts from both. I will start by focusing on the body since it was formed first.

One thing I need you to take away from today's post is that the body was formed from the earth. Thus, to replenish the body, you need to receive into your body, products from the earth. And to replenish your spirit (life source and energy), you need to receive into your spirit, products from the giver of the spirit.

Words to sleep on
The food is to the body as fuel to a car and the spirit is to the body as the ignition that gets it going. The fuel does finish. So too can the ignition be turned off. How long they both last depends on quality and maintenance.
